Review: UPDATE:1/6: Stephen called to apologize for our experience and said our price should have been adjusted. He refunded us half. We appreciate the assistance and will consider using them again.1/5: The first time we had someone out to our house to look at installing a vent hood over our stove was December 22. We had already purchased the vent hood. We just needed a technician to install it. We were told additional carpentry work would be required and someone would call us to schedule that along with the estimate. Two weeks later, no one had called us. I reached out to the company and scheduled their carpenter contractor to come out to our house. He was supposed to be here January 4th, and he never called or showed up. I called the company. What is incredibly frustrating is you never actually get to talk to a person who works for the company. You almost always get an answering service and then you have to wait for a call back. An hour later we were told he had an issue with his truck. Today the carpenter showed up. The work they did on installing our vent hood was great. We had some confusion over the total amount of the job since it was unclear if the $300 fee for removing the old vent was included as part of the $1500 installation fee. Apparently it was not. I was told by Elizabeth she would check on it and call me back and she didn’t. We spent as much on the install as we did on the vent hood so I really feel like the installation was way overpriced. I had someone else call me to charge my card after the work was completed. Clearly this company has a great deal of needed improvement for communications. I got so frustrated at one point we almost called the whole entire thing off. I probably would go with a more organized company that is better at communications next time.
