Review: Hartman ac installed a new unit 2 ton . It was a brand new house. the ducts were all screwed up. they never came out and fixed the problem after reporting to them while the work was still under warranty. I glad they are out of buisness!! Be careful they may resurface under an other name.

Review: Price gouged. Charged 1.7% mark up on parts!!! Even with a maintenance agreement with them that states a 15% discount on parts!!! 500$ motor cost me 900$.The quality was ok but they asked for cash for the partsDon’t get shafted like we didServices: HVAC system repair, HVAC system maintenance, A/C system maintenance

Review: To sum up my frustration – Zach Hartmann and his staff do not respond and do NOT keep to their word. Out of good faith and trying to be a good customer, I put down a 1500.00 deposit in the beginning of this process. We went two weeks with our A/C not working properly and Hartmann’s not fulfilling what they said they would. After numerous phone calls, numerous broken promises and one walk-in to their office location, my husband called another A/C company. The other company came out the SAME DAY and they replaced the entire condenser in under two hours and at a much lower cost. Now… still waiting on my refund from Hartmanns… of course, no response…. a lawyer has been contacted. I have an electric bill that is 3 times the norm because of their neglect. So infuriating. I just don’t understand or comprehend how a company can be so unprofessional and neglectful to a customer. Just be honest and open with us about the situation – if you can’t do it, don’t lie to us. Don’t tell me that you’ll refund me, then not contact me for over a week. I just called AGAIN and AGAIN they tell me that they don’t have a status on my refund. Just ridiculous.

Review: Hartmann was recommended to me by a friend who had a Generac generator installed by him. I contacted him for the same service and Zach Hartmann came to my home, looked around and gave me a quote. I accepted and the generator was installed. All of that was done, and I was pleased with the friendly attitude and what I thought was a professional job. The generator has worked beautifully when it was needed. I contacted Hartmann’s to schedule a maintenance service on the generator after it was used where it ran for a long time. I must have called at least 20 times trying to schedule the service, but I was always told that someone would call me back with a date they could come out, and that call back never happened. I ended up getting another company to come out and service my generator. Today I had an electrician come to my house because I have been having some electrical issues. While in my attic he saw where the electrical for the generator was run, and he came to tell me the way it was done was not up to code, and it was dangerous. The electrician tried to call to speak to someone at Hartmann’s, and they took his number and told him that they would have Zach Hartmann call him. Well we know that will never happen. I’m not sure what my options are, but I can tell you right now that Hartmann’s does not stand behind their work, and there is absolutely no service after the sale.

Review: I used Hartman in 2019 to install a 3 ton unit downstairs and everything was fine. I called them last week to come out and see why my upstairs unit wasn’t working and was told I needed a new unit. They were supposed to email an estimate to me with options but never contacted me. Icalled three times asking them to email an estimate to me because I was prepared to purchase right away. After a week went by I called Furman A/C and they were out the same day and installed a new unit the next day. I still haven’t heard back from Hartmann. I assume they don’t need the business.Update: 03/30/2023Hartman sold me the Trane unit mentioned above and in the hottest months when the unit was running all the time, water started leaking from the attic through the floor and into my bedroom. It turns out they sold me a unit that did not work with the existing ductwork. They replaced the attic portion of the unit but what I had was a high pressure Unico A/C and they did not replace it with the same. Condensation built up in the ductwork and caused a lot of damage to the ceiling in my bedroom. Now I have to replace the attic portion of the system with a high pressure unit which will cost me around $12,000. They are either incompetent or dishonest, maybe both but I would not recommend them. I will be using AirMart out of Houston to correct Hartman’s shoddy work.Services: HVAC system maintenance, Install AC
