Review: Just recently when the weather became cold, I realized I had a burst pipe somewhere underground in my front yard. I called several plumbing services and all were too busy for me due to like myself, other’s were having burst pipe issues as well. I called GEI Plumbing and they fit me in. It took them a while, they showed up late in the night, but they got me in. The two plumbers that came worked into the midnight hour to fix my issue. One of them, swept away as much water as he could from the puddles under one of my tree’s, knelt down and focused on the ground and in a matter of seconds pointed and said, there is your burst pipe! It was like the “pipe whisperer”. He began to dig and dig and finally found the burst pipe. The massive tree above it had sent a root over the pipe and it’s weight cracked the pipe. He shut the water from the street, cut it, replaced the missing piece and the water stopped! It was a cold night! And all I can say is, this plumber impressed me. His supervisor was constantly on the phone with me talking to me on what had to be done, and what was being done. And honestly, for a last minute call the price was reasonable. The pictures speak for themselves.This week I called them again, because my garbage disposal stopped working. The plumber assigned to me was on a big job around my neighborhood and he couldn’t get to me. At the end of the day, the supervisor called me again, and was honestly apologetic. He said, tell me what’s going on so I can understand if I can help you over the phone. I told him and he proceeded to tell me how to reboot the garbage disposal. I did as he instructed, and the thing worked, that simple. No charge, just customer support! This is what I look for in a company; experience, honesty, dependability and a good old “pipe whisperer”.
